2002 ABC National Safety Excellence Award
(Washington, D.C.) - RSI Roofing, Inc., received a National Safety Excellence award at Associated Builders and Contractor's (ABC) national convention in San Antonio, March 7-11.
In announcing the awards, ABC Executive Vice President Kirk Pickerel said, "National Safety Excellence winners truly represent the best of the best in the construction industry. Winners not only have implemented effective safety programs at their firms, they also have outstanding safety records - many of them have the best possible Occupational Safety and Health Administration recordable rates and low experience modification rates."
RSI Roofing, Inc., was incorporated in 1982, as a full service commercial and industrial roofing and sheet metal contractor. RSI's office and warehouses are located in Gouverneur, NY.
The millennium also brought other hard earned awards for RSI such as induction to Carlisle SynTec's 'Hall of Fame' for reaching the milestone of 250 perfect '10' roofing installations with their product; and appointment to Firestone's Contractor Advisory Council.
ABC is a national association representing approximately 23,000 merit (open) shop construction and construction-related firms in 82 chapters across the United States.
